About —
Madeleine Parsons is a writer and designer based in Brooklyn. She is a creative writing MFA candidate at Hunter College, the creative director at Colony, and an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design. She writes Design in Verse, a newsletter on the dialogue between literature and design.
At Hunter, she was awarded a Sainsbury Research Fellowship with author Ed Park. Her writing has been published in Wrong House, Upstate Woman and Design Milk and she has forthcoming fiction in 3:AM Magazine. Her design work has been featured in NY Mag, Elle Decor, Wallpaper*, SightUnseen and Surface. She is working on a personal essay collection which examines how the built environment shapes and reflects our interior lives.
